First breakfast of the year


It was porridge at Maxwell Road Market with Dad. Plus the usual plate of raw fish of course. It is called Cheng Ji or Seng Kee (Cantonese pronunciation). Contrary to the very popular Jin Jin Porridge in the next lane, we have stuck with this stall for years. It is not a short wait either. We are forewarned that we have to wait at least half an hour.
